Aesir Copenhagen Luxury Phone by Yves Behar

Image

The luxury phone brand Aesir Copenhagen has revealed a stunning new handset designed by Yves Behar.  In the age of do-it-all smart phone, the +YvesBehar by Aesir Copenhagen might seem a bit one-dimensional at first glance.  From beginning to end, it is a phone– no camera or GPS, no Gmail or Angry Birds, just a device that provides stunning clarity and tactility in a luxury class design.

The Yves Behar Aesir Copenhagen phone is available in either 18 carat yellow gold or a fine stainless steel with a ceramic top.  A timeless phone will require a timeless sum, however, as the 18 carat gold version will retail at nearly $59,000 USD.

Pomegranate Mobile

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjEaIHOxH-I

The Pomegranate is a mobile phone hoax created as a marketing campaign on behalf of the Government of Nova Scotia. The website advertising the fake product has comical features such as a video projector, live voice translator, harmonica, coffee maker, and shaving razor, among many other standard features that current leading mobile phones have, but upon clicking "I've seen enough" or "Release date", an array of information about Nova Scotia and its culture is displayed. The campaign, which included online advertising on sites in New England, is an attempt to attract interest in Nova Scotia and establish it as a desirable place to live and do business...

The Pomegranate phone is the latest campaign from Communications Nova Scotia's Come to Life initiative, the place-branding program of the Government of Nova Scotia. Communications Nova Scotia has been criticized by some for spending $300,000 on the ad campaign, though the website received more than 3 million visits from 195 countries/territories.
